About
Sebastian Cochinescu is a technology entrepreneur based in Bucharest, Romania. He is the co-founder and CEO of Anima Felix, and has been building software companies since 2004, starting with AppleNet. Along the way he founded TailPath and co-founded SoundFeed.
He invests in early-stage startups as an angel investor and board member at TechAngels Romania, serves as a scientific journal editor for The British Blockchain Association, and hosts the Connecting the Dots podcast. He has taught at the University of Bucharest and The Entrepreneurship Academy.
Before technology there was music: he trained as a classical pianist and later toured with the Hara rock band, a story told in one of his posts. In 2018 he received the Emblem of Honor of the Romanian Army High Command.
